While the world watched the Super Bowl, NFL front offices were busy. Two major offensive minds found new homes this weekend.

Frank Reich -> Jets Offensive Coordinator

The New York Jets have hired Frank Reich as their new Offensive Coordinator.

• The Fit: Reich is a quarterback whisperer (see: Carson Wentz 2017, Philip Rivers 2020).
• Fantasy Impact:
  • Garrett Wilson: Upgrade. Reich's offenses funnel targets to the X-receiver (think Michael Pittman Jr. in Indy). Wilson should see 150+ targets.
  • Breece Hall: Reich loves using RBs in the screen game. Hall's PPR floor just got safer.

Klint Kubiak -> Raiders Head Coach (Expected)

Multiple sources confirm that Klint Kubiak (Saints OC) is the choice for the Las Vegas Raiders job, with an announcement expected now that the Super Bowl is over.

• The Scheme: Kubiak runs the pure Shanahan/Kubiak wide-zone offense.
• Fantasy Impact:
  • Zamir White / Dylan Laube: This scheme needs a one-cut runner. Neither White nor Laube fits perfectly. Expect the Raiders to draft a RB (maybe Trey Benson or similar profile) in April.
  • Brock Bowers: In this scheme, the TE is often used on bootlegs and crossers. Bowers is the perfect athlete for this. He is the biggest winner of this hire.
