Trade implication: Clearance for a backup removes one availability hurdle; it does not establish how many games he will start. A manager considering a replacement trade should calculate the value of one confirmed opportunity before adding any premium for possible future weeks. Keep Williams' long-term valuation separate from the roster cost of waiting.

Penix: the return is now an observed event

Atlanta named Penix its starter on September 21. The NFL game log and independent game recap record 256 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception in the September 24 win over Green Bay.

Trade implication: Remove the old assumption that Atlanta must operate without Penix. That improves the basis for reassessing its passing game, but one start does not establish stable efficiency or guarantee a breakout. Trade implication: With Murray back, Wentz is a backup rather than a confirmed starting option. Murray's return resolves one availability concern, while Jefferson's injury creates a separate receiving-environment question. Do not merge those into a single automatic upgrade or downgrade. Start with three questions: Is the player confirmed to start? How many starts are actually supported by current reporting? What would your roster use instead?

In a one-quarterback league, available waiver options can make an expensive backup trade unnecessary.
